In front of him, devotees in white clothes with yellow or orange shawls sit on the floor around brass trays of lit oil lamps, fruit and flowers, performing a pada puja. A woman in a green sari and a shaved-headed man in white stand near the trays, and a small child in yellow sits at left. A blue sign on the wall reads Silence please. Several devotees sit in the background among potted plants.2010-08-04December 26 20082008-12-26A photograph inside a red and orange ritual hall during a Pratyaksha Pada Puja. A man in a saffron-orange robe stands at right with palms pressed together in namaste, with a red-cushioned seat and a wooden tray of fruit and offerings beside him; the appearance is a person, with long swept-back hair and saffron robes, though the presentation is limited to clothing and hair, so identity remains uncertain. Seated at left, several men in white dhotis with orange-red shawls and rudraksha malas sit near a microphone, one holding it. A woman in a yellow sari with a red bindi sits in front of brass plates of lamps and flowers, while a young girl in orange sits beside her. A woman with light hair in orange and a blonde woman sit in the foreground. Standing in the background are a man in an orange scarf and two men in white robes, one with hands folded.2010-08-02 +1 copies
