Outdoor metalworking scene on bare earth beneath trees and a concrete wall. A worker in a green and white checked shirt and grey shorts with orange stripes, barefoot, stands at a open fire pit, holding a long iron rod toward glowing flames. Scattered metal castings, bolts and scrap lie on the ground and a white cloth, with a second fire burning at right and a pile of reddish material beside it. The worker is the only person visible.
