At the centre, a palanquin-style ratha with a multicoloured floral and beaded arch frames two deity murti figures under a white canopy. A large orange, blue and multicoloured umbrella stands beside it. Men and women in white dhotis, white shirts and orange garments walk around it, several holding lit oil lamps on long poles. A man in a red-and-white checked shirt plays a drum, and a young man in the foreground wears a white headband. Some people carry flower garlands. Dense crowd fills the frame.2006-12-23 +1 copiesA night procession at a temple festival. A decorated palanquin with a multicoloured canopy and garlands carries a small metal deity murti. A man in white clothes stands on the platform steadying the deity, while white-clad men walk alongside and hold the palanquin poles. On the left, a man holds a gold and red ornamental umbrella on a long pole. In the right foreground, a bare-backed man with long dark hair wears an orange-saffron cloth around his waist; his back is visible, so no facial features are shown. The background is dark with a scattered crowd.2005-12-22December 20 20062006-12-20November 11 20102010-11-11October 11 20162016-10-11November 11 20102010-11-11October 09 20062006-10-09
