Rows of seated devotees sit cross-legged on orange mats, palms pressed together in namaste, facing a distant stage with a red curtain and a small figure seated on an elevated seat. Men on the left wear white dhotis and shawls, some with rudraksha malas; women on the right wear yellow shawls over white clothes, and a foreign woman with long curly hair in a yellow shawl sits at the front right. Banana leaves with food, paper cups and a wooden tray with a small lamp and bowls sit on the floor between the rows.2010-10-12April 27 20162016-04-27May 05 20162016-05-05December 06 20162016-12-06November 12 20102010-11-12Large photograph inside a white tented hall with a red carpet, where a dense crowd of seated devotees fills the foreground and midground. Most people wear white garments with red or orange borders, and some hold their hands together in anjali. Colourful hanging tassels, lanterns and ornaments decorate the tent ceiling. At the far end, a raised stage with a red-and-gold backdrop holds two large golden trident (trishul) motifs on either side and a central figure seated on a throne-like seat, with screens showing close-ups. The setting suggests a satsang or initiation session.2016-05-04Photograph of a large hall where rows of seated devotees in white dhotis and white kurtas with orange saffron shawls sit on the floor before banana leaf plates with food, brass pots and small cups, with tall poles topped with orange flags lining the aisles. At the far end, a figure in an orange saffron robe sits before a small altar area while a few people in white stand nearby. Patterned yellow, orange and blue banners hang from the ceiling above a stage, and a camera operator is visible on the right.2006-12-27
