A photograph of a relief food distribution at a village in Tamil Nadu. A man in a cream shirt, checked lungi and white hair net stands by a green and yellow truck, serving yellow rice from a steel plate to a young boy in a red and navy shirt, who holds a small bowl. Behind the truck, a woman in a light patterned top and plastic gloves and another person in a brown shirt work at a metal tray inside the vehicle. The truck has painted lotus motifs and a Tamil-script sign with a TN registration plate. Dry grass and sandy ground surround the scene, with a green overhead gantry above.
