Photograph of two life-size golden metal figures seated on a decorated platform: a male figure in a tan turban and teal brocade top with a purple satin skirt holds a trident and raises a hand, beside a female figure in a black crown with a pale pink-and-gold sari and layered gold necklaces. Both wear yellow and magenta flower garlands. A tall brass oil lamp stands in front, with a red curtain and carved stone pillar behind. These are deity murti statues, not living people.2010-12-19Two gilded deity murti stand side by side against a backdrop of marigold and jasmine garlands with red and yellow blossoms. The figure on the left wears an orange turban and a jewelled crown, holds a golden trident, and is dressed in a lavender satin skirt with a green and orange sash and layered diamond-studded necklaces. The figure on the right wears an ornate crown, a teal and gold brocade sari and heavy silver necklaces, with one hand raised. A flower garland in yellow, pink and purple hangs in the lower right beside a copper vessel with green leaves. The statues are decorated for a festival-style worship display.Photo 116913412014-12-25September 06 20102010-09-06December 13 20122012-12-13January 12 20092009-01-12December 08 20122012-12-08June 19 20152015-06-19A photograph of a golden deity murti pair seated in an ornate gilded arch with a deep red curtain behind. The left figure wears a red-and-orange turban, a trident and a damaru-like drum in hand, a red bodice and white dhoti; the right figure wears a black hair crown, an orange sari and heavy gold jewellery. Both are draped in layered garlands of yellow, red, pink and white flowers. In front, a white-clad figure with a shaved head and orange sash sits in a seated worship posture, flanked by flower garlands, brass lamps and white flower offerings. The scene is a temple shrine in a puja setting; no living person is clearly identifiable in the scene.2009-06-15March 25 20152015-03-25Two metal murti figures seated side by side on a white-draped platform before red sparkling curtains and a gold arch.
