A large seated congregation fills a tented hall with white ceiling and hanging patterned cylindrical banners with tassels. Dozens of men in white dhotis and white shirts, many wearing rudraksha malas and some with yellow or saffron shawls and orange cloths, sit cross-legged in rows facing forward. Several have vertical or horizontal tilak marks on their foreheads. Some sit with eyes closed in meditation or attentive listening. A few women in saris sit toward the back. Metal scaffolding, speakers and a banner are visible on the walls. The scene suggests a satsang or discourse gathering.
