Night photograph of a tall, ribbed wooden pole rising into darkness, topped with a small red and orange cloth. An orange flag with a red-and-white ribbon attached is being raised up the pole on ropes. At lower right, a person in an orange garment with a dark head is pulling the rope, visible only partially at the frame edge. Other hands grip the flag pole below. The scene is lit only faintly, with a white flower-like tuft tied near the flag.
