Indoor temple scene with a crowd of devotees. A long-haired man in saffron-orange robes and a heavy gold bead necklace stands at the right, looking down, with a wooden staff in the background. A woman in a purple sari sits on the floor in front of him, holding a silver tray with small oil lamps, while an older woman in a green-and-pink sari with glasses and a long braid bends forward beside her. Several onlookers in white and orange, including a girl in a blue dress, watch. Offerings in colourful cloth, yellow rice and fruit lie on the floor in front.
