Two young girls stand on bare ground at night lighting sparklers during a Deepavali celebration. The girl on the left wears an orange salwar kameez and holds a sparkler out to the side, sparks flying. The girl in front wears a cream kurta with dark embroidered trim and a black-and-gold necklace, holding a lit sparkler low in her hand. Strings of multicoloured fairy lights hang above and a small illuminated building with more lights appears in the background. Spent fireworks lie on the ground at right and another person in orange stands at the edge of the frame.
