Two men in saffron-orange robes walk through a stone doorway of a temple-like interior with a low vaulted ceiling and a bright light above. The man on the right wears a teal-green silk shawl with gold border over an orange dhoti, a white jasmine garland with red roses, a rudraksha mala, and a gold chest ornament; he has a red-and-white forehead marking and a gold-toned crown-like headband. The man on the left wears an orange cloth over one shoulder, a rudraksha mala, a gold pendant, and white tilak markings. Several other people are visible in the dim background. A small sign is mounted on the right wall. Swamiji (probable) is the man on the right, identified by his distinctive crown, garland, rudraksha mala and gold ornaments.2012-05-18Photograph of a procession inside a dim, older building with yellowed plaster walls and a wooden ladder on the right. In the foreground, an older bald man with a white and red forehead mark wears a teal and gold silk shawl over orange-red dhoti, a white flower garland with red blossoms, and a rudraksha mala with gold ornaments. Beside him, a younger man in an orange-red garment with a sacred thread and rudraksha mala, plus a gold pendant, walks at his side. A bare-headed older man on the right wears a turquoise-and-gold silk shawl over orange-red robes, a white jasmine garland with red flowers, a dark rudraksha mala and a gold ceremonial pendant; he has a shaved head with a gold-banded headpiece and tilak marks. Beside him, a younger man in orange robes and a rudraksha mala stands with hands folded at his chest, and a few more people in orange and white clothing move through the dim interior behind them. Appearance cues for the older man are not distinctive enough to confirm the page's claim, so his identity is unsure.2012-05-18 +1 copiesA photograph of two men walking closely together indoors in a dim stone passage. The man on the left is bald, wears a green and gold brocade shawl, a white jasmine garland, a rudraksha band across the head, and white and red sectarian markings on the forehead. The man on the right has swept-back dark hair under a rudraksha band, a red and white forehead mark, an orange-saffron robe with a yellow edge, and multiple rudraksha and gold-beaded malas with a white cord necklace. A third man stands behind them in shadow. The scene resembles a temple or ashram procession corridor.2012-05-18May 18 20122012-05-18May 18 20122012-05-18 +1 copiesA blurred photograph of a narrow temple doorway with old green-painted wooden doors and a faint light inside. In the foreground a man in a teal-green silk shawl with a white flower garland, rudraksha beads, a gold pendant and a red-orange dhoti stands with hands folded, a red tilak on his forehead. Behind him stand two men in orange-red robes with garlands, one with a white band on his head. A camera operator's equipment is visible at the left edge. The person in front has a shawl and distinctive ornate adornments, but the appearance is not clear enough to confirm identity, so the role is given as a devotee in procession.2012-05-18May 16 20122012-05-16 +1 copiesPhotograph inside a stone temple hall with weathered grey walls. In the centre, an elderly bald man wears a green and gold shawl over an orange-red dhoti, with white garlands, a rudraksha mala and gold bangle, and white ash marks on his forehead; he holds his hands together in front of him. Beside him, a younger man in an orange-red dhoti and shawl wears a headband, a rudraksha mala with a gold pendant and white forehead markings, and holds his hands clasped. A bald man in orange clothes stands at right holding a small steel cup, and further left a person in orange holds a brass vessel and a gold kalasha-like pot sits on a tray. Small red temple-motif papers lie on the right. Some people stand in the background in white and orange clothes.2012-05-18 +1 copiesFour men stand together in a dim temple doorway, all in orange-saffron robes. On the right, a smiling man with long dark hair, a gold crown-band, red and white flower garlands and a heavy gold ceremonial necklace raises one hand in greeting; the person on the far right looks like Swamiji (probable), based on the long hair, crown, saffron clothing and ornate gold necklace. Beside him, an older man with a white-painted forehead, a red-and-white garland and dark rudraksha beads smiles. A bald man in orange with a gold chain and red forehead mark stands behind them, and a partly visible person is at the edge. The page lists the setting as a Kanchanoor temple visit, but nothing visible establishes that place.2012-05-16May 18 20122012-05-18 +1 copiesMay 10 20122012-05-10
