A street line of villagers queues beside a thatched hut for a food distribution, part of an annadaan relief effort in Kuttiyankuppam village. A large steel cooking vessel sits on a vehicle at the back, and men in white shirts and a man in a blue shirt tend the food. Women and girls in colourful saris and salwar kameez hold steel tumblers and bowls, while a woman in a yellow-and-white sari on the right holds a pink bowl of food. Dry palm-thatch roofs and a rickshaw with a yellow body frame the scene. No one is identifiable as a person in this image.
