The murti sits within a gold-leaf arch decorated with garlands of yellow, purple, red and white flowers. Below, a gleaming silver-toned lingam is decked with flower strands. In the lower left, a second attendant in orange robes holds a silver tray with offerings. Gold and red cloth drapes behind the murti. Appearance-based cues on the white-clad figure (long swept hair, white attire) are not distinctive enough to identify anyone, so the role is described only.2009-01-01December 21 20102010-12-21December 23 20102010-12-23December 21 20102010-12-21A photograph of an outdoor temple ritual at a stone-pillared porch. A bare-chested priest in an orange dhoti and orange shawl, wearing a long garland of white, red and yellow flowers with green leaves, reaches toward a large deity murti draped in white and gold cloth and flower garlands, with a gold crown-like headdress. Behind him an assistant in white holds a silver vessel, and another attendant in orange and white stands nearby holding a straw hat. Part of a green silk sari-clad deity figure with garlands is visible at right. The priest appears to be performing abhishekam or an offering to the murti.2006-12-29December 23 20102010-12-23December 21 20102010-12-21A temple ritual photograph at an open pillared shrine. A man with long dark hair and a bare chest wears a white dhoti and a garland of orange flowers, holding a brass lamp with a flame toward a decorated deity murti. Beside him, a shaved-headed priest in orange dhoti and saffron garment holds a silver plate, and another attendant in white with a garland stands at left. The deity figures are adorned with marigold and red flower garlands, gold jewellery and a crown, and a white-draped altar holds brass lamps, a kalasha and offerings. The setting is an outdoor temple pillar and greenery.2010-12-21January 06 20132013-01-06December 23 20102010-12-23December 23 20102010-12-23
