A large crowd fills a covered open-sided pavilion with a corrugated roof and steel trusses. Striped, flower-painted decorative pillars in red, orange and black line the hall. Many devotees, mostly women in white and saffron-orange saris and men in white shirts and dhotis, sit close together with hands pressed in anjali or raised in worship. A woman in the right foreground in orange sari and red blouse holds a white cloth and folds her hands. Beyond them, an entrance arch decorated with orange and red drapery and garlands leads to a bright outdoor area. Yellow flower petals drift in the air.
