The central drum has a silver metallic shell and a white drumhead. Behind them, seated devotees and a backdrop of red drapes with illuminated white-and-gold arch decorations suggest a ceremonial hall. The drummers' focused expressions and synchronized posture convey a group drumming performance during a program.2016-12-21April 23 20162016-04-23August 04 20172017-08-04April 23 20162016-04-23August 04 20172017-08-04August 10 20172017-08-10 +1 copiesSeveral young students in saffron-orange dhotis and shawls with gold borders sit cross-legged on a red floor mat, playing drums. Most wear saffron-orange cloth draped over bare shoulders, and several wear rudraksha malas around their necks. One musician in the foreground, with a red tilak on his forehead, beats a drum with thin pink sticks while another in the right foreground plays a steel drum. A shell or conch sits near the drums, and a woman in white with rudraksha beads sits behind the drummers. Background people in white and orange clothing sit on chairs and floor, and a metal grille is visible at the upper right.2017-08-01December 20 20182018-12-20 +2 copies
