Interior of a dimly lit stone temple shrine with dark carved pillars and a metal grille door. Several black stone sculptures of deity forms stand on a low platform, each draped with white, red, purple and yellow cloth and decorated with white flower garlands. A group of people in orange and saffron robes, white dhotis and rudraksha malas stands around them. A figure in a tall orange turban and orange robe with long hair stands at the center, facing the sculptures and offering something with their hands, while a bare-chested man in a white dhoti stands beside them. Others in white shirts stand near the door.

Interior of a dim stone temple shrine at night, with a fluorescent tube light overhead. A group of devotees in saffron and orange robes stands in a doorway with hands folded in namaskar. A central figure in an orange robe with a garland of white flowers and a gold necklace has hands pressed together in prayer; this figure's appearance does not clearly establish identity. Near the foreground, three black stone Shiva lingams are decorated with white and yellow flowers and draped in blue, red and yellow cloths. Oil lamps burn on the altar, and a metal vessel sits at lower left. Men in white dhotis and orange shawls stand behind, and a bare-chested priest with a white tilak and rudraksha mala is at right.

Inside a temple shrine hall with dark stone pillars and an orange-painted wooden ceiling, a central man in a rust-brown dhoti and shawl stands with palms pressed together in namaskar, wearing a red-and-white flower garland. Behind him a bearded man in an orange-and-gold garland and a khaki-uniformed police officer stand among a group of devotees in saffron and white. In the foreground are black stone Shiva lingams and deity murtis, some draped in red and blue cloth, with a yellow-wrapped kalasha-like object near a pillar. Several onlookers in teal and white shirts crowd the doorway, and a camera operator is visible behind the group.

Photograph inside a dim stone temple corridor with carved pillars and a narrow doorway lit from the right. Several saffron-clad men with shaved heads and white tilak marks stand in a group, many wearing gold-coloured beaded necklaces and rudraksha malas. A man in the centre-right wears saffron robes with an orange shawl and holds his hands in namaste. Another man in a white dhoti with a saffron border stands near the doorway. A white-shirted man stands at the left edge, and a bare-chested man with a red-marked forehead stands at the far right. The figures appear to be devotees or sannyasis moving through a temple passage.

Dim interior of a South Indian temple with ornate painted carved pillars showing elephant-headed and lion-like guardian figures in green, red and gold. A crowd of men in white shirts and dhotis and a few women move through a narrow passage. At centre, a man with a white-and-orange head band and a long saffron-orange robe holds a rudraksha mala in his hands, and beside him another man in orange robes with a shaved head walks in the procession. Overhead a fluorescent light glows above a doorway, and a hanging chain runs across the top of the frame.
