Outdoor street procession in front of a South Indian temple gopuram with colourful sculpted tiers. A central figure in a saffron-orange garment with a matching orange turban and a long garland of orange and white flowers walks forward, hands joined at the chest. Uniformed police officers in khaki with peaked caps and belts line the path and flank the crowd. A flower-strewn ground and a red-and-blue umbrella with tasselled edges appear overhead, along with a decorative fringed parasol and saffron flags. Several men in saffron robes and white shirts follow, and a camera operator films at right. Auspicious procession with police escort.
