Outdoor photo of a large rectangular pond with a tall black stone Shiva lingam on a square platform in the middle, reached by a metal staircase rising from the water. A figure in orange robes stands partway up the staircase near the lingam. Rows of red and white stepped seating surround the pond, and a crowd of devotees sits on the steps along the near edge, many in white clothes, with some in orange, yellow and green saris and salwars. A small red-draped seat or cushion sits on an orange mat at the water's edge. A video camera on a tripod is visible at right. Palm trees and open land appear beyond the pond.
