He is a flat image, not a physical person. In front of it sits a red cloth altar with a gold bead garland, a brass cup and bowl, and a small gold figure with a pink flower. A glass bowl of pink roses floats in water on the floor, and a silver aarti tray holds a lit oil lamp, flowers and brass vessels on a patterned rug. A framed red and gold deity print hangs at right beside a shelf of small figurines. Because this is a cutout portrait, the figure is classed as a depiction.2025-05-07A life-size cutout printed photograph of a smiling figure in a red-orange turban and saffron robes stands against a dark wooden wall. The figure wears a long rudraksha mala, a garland of red and yellow flowers, and red bangles, with both palms raised in blessing. It is seated before a gold-edged throne with a small framed deity picture at lower left. A bare bulb and wires hang at right. The cutout is a depiction, not a person physically present, and the scene contains no physical people.2024-12-09A life-size cardboard cutout of a smiling figure seated cross-legged on a magenta silk-draped seat against a yellow-ochre wall. The figure wears a red and gold patterned turban with a gold chain, layered white jasmine and red-pink flower garlands, gold earrings, a pearl-and-gold choker, and a rudraksha-style mala. The right hand is raised in a blessing gesture and the left hand holds a pink rose. Because the figure is a printed cutout, no physical people are present.2024-08-24KAILASA SAN FERNANDO, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO on 9/23/20222022-09-23 +1 copiesA life-size printed cutout photograph of a smiling man seated cross-legged, wearing a red-maroon turban with a vermilion mark on his forehead, a red-maroon robe, and a thick garland of white jasmine and red flowers. He holds a pink rose in one raised hand and raises his other palm in blessing. He wears layered rudraksha and bead malas, a turquoise pendant, and a gold chain with a small framed portrait pendant. Purple flowers and a yellow tassel cord surround him, and flowers rest on a tray in front. The cutout stands indoors against a wooden shelf. Because it is a depiction of a person rather than a living person present, no physical people are counted.2021-06-29KAILASA SAN FERNANDO, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO on 4/13/20212021-04-13 +1 copiesIndoor shrine table draped in yellow cloth holding framed photographs and a life-size cutout of a smiling man in a red turban, red robes and a red tilak, hands folded in namaste and wearing thick red-and-white flower garlands. Behind him, a framed photograph shows a man with long dark hair in saffron robes and a white-bead garland raising one hand before a banyan tree trunk. A smaller silver-framed black-and-white portrait sits between garlands of red flowers. Folded brown cloths, a glass bottle, a glass bowl, a small stone elephant figure, a cow painting, a small deity picture and a green figurine complete the arrangement.
