A performer kneels in a low squatting pose on a green stage in front of a white draped backdrop with large red lettering partly visible, reading in part "...nandoF...". He is bare-chested and wears a multi-strand white pearl necklace, a green bead necklace, gold armbands and bangles, and a purple dhoti-style lower garment with gold-embroidered borders and a gold waistband. He has a red tilak on his forehead, dark eye makeup and red lipstick, and his right hand is raised in a dance gesture while his left hand touches his arm. This appears to be a stage dance or drama performance rather than a ritual, and the performer's identity is not established by any visible name.
