A shrine arrangement in an indoor room with a cut-out standing figure in the centre, wearing a red-orange turban with a vertical tilak mark, a rust-red robe, layered gold-toned beaded necklaces and a white flower garland, holding a golden trident. The cut-out is a depiction, not a physical person. Framed portraits flank it, one showing a long-haired man in orange robes with a garland. Books with garlands sit on a glass table along with a brass kalasha-like vessel of white flowers, red lotus-shaped decorations, a small bowl of offerings, a crystal sphere and carved stone figurines. A framed tanjore-style painting hangs above showing a figure in pink robes. Pot-shaped offerings and a trident stand on the left.2022-03-15Photo 82854912022-03-14 +1 copiesPhoto 99201732022-03-16 +1 copiesKAILASA SAN FERNANDO, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO on 1/16/20222022-01-16 +1 copiesPhoto 99229282022-03-06 +1 copiesKAILASA SAN FERNANDO, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO on 2/25/20222022-02-25 +1 copiesA home altar photographed head-on, dominated by a life-size cutout print of a smiling man in a red-orange turban, saffron robe, gold-bead and rudraksha mala, holding a golden trident. Flanking him is a framed portrait of a long-haired man in orange robes, and a framed picture labelled Bhagavad Gita beside books wrapped in white and red flower garlands. Below sit small statues, a red lotus-shaped flower, an oil lamp on a brass tray surrounded by jasmine and yellow flowers, and a leopard-print cloth covering the table. No physical people are present; the altar figures are printed images and statues.2022-01-02 +1 copiesA shrine table draped in a leopard-print cloth holds a life-size cutout figure of a smiling man in an orange-red turban and saffron robe, with a vermilion forehead mark, layered rudraksha beads and a golden trident in one hand. Framed photographs flank it: a black-and-white portrait of a long-haired man in orange robes on the left and a framed image on the right. Other items include a gold oil lamp, small offering bowls, red lotus decorations, a figurine of a seated deity, and open books with garlands. A painted portrait of a seated figure in pink robes hangs above.
