A bare-chested man with short grey hair and glasses stands at left, reaching toward a tall black stone murti of a deity in a temple shrine. The murti wears a white and silver dhoti-style garment, a tall conical crown, and a dark red and white beaded necklace with a large pendant, with orange and yellow marigold garlands draped over its shoulders and body. A bronze lamp stand or lamp is visible near its side, and a trident-like staff rises beside the figure. The deity sits within a woven wicker-patterned palanquin or ratha-like frame on a turquoise and gold cloth. A small plain wall with a rack of objects forms the background.
