A decorated home altar set up for puja, with a leopard-print cloth on a low platform covered in yellow and red flowers, white jasmine-style blossoms, and rudraksha mala strands hanging at the front. Small gold-toned deity murtis, including a seated Ganesha figure and a Shiva-linked figure with a trident, sit among the flowers, with a mango and a red fruit offered nearby. Behind the altar, framed pictures show a printed portrait of a robed figure with red-and-orange garments and a red flower garland, and a large image of a seated man with long hair and a tiger. Wall prints in the background show two turbaned, bearded men in orange and gold, and a brass ritual drum (damaru-style) sits to the left. No physical people are visible.2022-06-02Photo 82912052022-06-14 +1 copiesPhoto 82843562022-05-27 +1 copiesA photo of a home shrine altar in KAILASA San Fernando.
