A deity murti is seated on a red and gold palanquin framed by an arch of white, yellow, red and green flower garlands. The figure wears a tall striped headdress, a white beaded necklace and a blue-and-pink garment. Four bare-chested men with white ash on their foreheads and arms, wearing rudraksha malas and saffron cloth, hold up the palanquin and smile at the camera. Golden kalasha pots and temple architecture frame the scene, with screens showing the event at the top corners. A caption at the bottom identifies this as the Dhwajarohanam ritual of the Nithyanandotsavam 2021 Day 1 celebration.

The murti wears a gold crown and heavy gold necklaces and is dressed in a red and gold cloth. Red-gold ornamental panels and a gold ornamental stand stand behind. A banner in the bottom-left corner shows an orange-robed man with a shaved head and a bright smile, but his features are not clear enough for a confident identification.

A man seated on a leopard-skin-covered throne behind a garlanded arch, wearing a rudraksha mala and gold chain and smiling, appears toward the upper left. Three men in saffron-orange dhotis and sacred threads sit at a brass-rimmed table, one at left in orange with a black hair knot performing an offering while a companion beside him in orange holds a small vessel. A woman in an orange sari with a dark head covering sits at the right edge. Brass lamps, a silver umbrella, pink flower garlands and a metal pot are on the altar, with a deity murti on a flower-garlanded throne at the right.
