A photograph of a ceremonial welcome at an outdoor ashram entrance. A central figure with long, swept-back dark hair and a loose saffron-orange robe walks barefoot with palms pressed together in namaste. Two bearers in white dhotis and orange shoulder cloths hold a large multicoloured ceremonial umbrella and an orange-and-red decorated umbrella overhead. A man in white kurta and orange cloth carries a silver kalasha with a mango-leaf and coconut top on a tray of orange flowers. Devotees in white and cream saris line the path, many with hands folded in anjali. The scene is a purnakumbha-style welcome at a doorway with a dark wooden frame, under a clear sky with trees behind.2006-11-14December 24 20082008-12-24December 29 20082008-12-29A photograph of a procession entering a doorway under colourful festoon decorations and yellow, red and green canopy cloth.
