A photograph of a devotional ritual at a shrine. A woman in a blue blouse and navy saree with multicoloured tie-dye borders leans forward, her hands on her waist, toward a seated woman in a white saree with gold border and brown rudraksha beads. The seated woman wears glasses, a red kumkum bindi and gold bangles, and holds a small gold object in both hands while the standing woman extends her arm. Before them is a brass plate with bananas and an oil lamp, marigold flowers, scattered petals and a brass tray of fruit and items. Behind is a dark tiled wall, a deity murti dressed in a red and gold garment, adorned with pink roses and a gold crown, and a display of bananas and grapes.

A photograph of a ritual in a temple-like room with a yellow-tiled wall. A woman in a royal blue silk sari with gold motifs and a rudraksha mala stands at left, bent forward while a woman in a white sari with a gold border sits cross-legged at right, tying or fastening a thread around the standing woman's wrist. A third person in a white dhoti with gold border stands behind them, and another woman in a magenta and gold sari kneels behind. In front, a brass tray holds brass oil lamps with lit flames, a ripe banana, incense sticks, a small bowl of kumkum, and a bowl of yellow turmeric. Brass plates of food, including idli and rice, sit on the blue and green mat at lower left and lower right. A red and gold deity murti is partly visible at the top.

A woman with grey hair pulled back and a red bindi sits cross-legged on a red-orange cloth by a window, hands pressed together in anjali mudra with eyes closed. She wears a blue patterned sleeveless dress and a beaded necklace. In front of her on the floor are brass thalis and bowls holding fruit including bananas, apples, oranges and mangoes, a brass bowl of rice pudding with flower petals, oil lamps, a small brass vessel and incense or camphor smoke, arranged for puja. A decorated seat or altar covered in cloth and red rose petals sits near the window. A poster or cloth hangs on the right wall. No readable text is visible.
