Indoor puja in a plain room with a white garage-style door behind. A woman in a red and gold saree with a navy blue border sits cross-legged on a white cloth, hands pressed in anjali, a white tilak on her forehead. Beside her a man in white clothes sits with hands folded, and several other devotees in green, teal and blue saris pray with palms raised in the foreground. On the floor are brass plates of flowers, a copper kalasha, small oil lamps with lit flames, a brass aarti lamp and a small brass vessel. Behind, bronze deity murtis stand on pedestals, including a multi-armed female form in orange and green drapery holding objects in raised hands.

A woman in a navy and maroon silk sari with gold border sits cross-legged on a pink mat, hands pressed together in prayer with a white tilak on her forehead and bangles on her wrists. Beside her a seated figure in bright blue silk is partly visible in the foreground, and a green-clad person and others with folded hands sit at left. On the mat are a brass plate of flowers, a copper pot, small brass oil lamps with a lit flame, an incense holder, a brass tray, a conch-shaped vessel and a matchbox. A copper kalasha sits at right beside a small standing statue of a robed figure with folded hands. The setting appears to be a home room with a white garage-style door behind.

Indoor puja in a carpeted room during an evening Shivaratri observance. A large seated statue on the right wears a garland of pink and white flowers, a blue cloth draped below, and raises its hand in blessing; it is a murti, not a living person. Three standing metal deity figures stand against the wall at left. Along the floor, brass plates, bowls, oil lamps, fruit and sweets are arranged on white cloths. Several devotees sit in front: a woman in a red blouse and orange-gold sari pours from a vessel, a woman in a green and purple sari sits in the centre, a woman in a grey patterned outfit sits at right, a man in white kurta sits behind the altar, and children in white and grey clothing join with folded hands, one girl in pink holding a bell-like brass item. Roughly eight to ten physical people are visible.

Two women kneel on red and gold cloths: the woman on the left in a white sari holds a brass oil lamp, and the woman on the right in a blue top sits beside a second brass lamp. In the foreground, a decorated murti dressed in an orange cloth and a tray of rose petals and flowers sit near lit oil lamps and a small brass pot.

A photo of a puja in a temple room with yellow walls and marigold garlands hanging from the top. Deity murtis stand on a raised altar, and framed images hang on the walls. Four people sit on the floor on a striped red, black and green cloth in front of brass and silver plates of fruit, bananas, strawberries, green leaves, a coconut and marigold flowers. A woman in a red blouse and cream sari sits at left with her hands near the offerings. A man with a rudraksha mala and bare chest sits beside a woman in a purple sari with her palms joined. At right, a bare-chested man in white dhoti sits on a blue mat with his palms pressed together in prayer. A brass kalasha stands in the foreground, and oil lamps burn on the cloth.
