Servers in white caps and hairnets, with white aprons, ladle food from steel trays under a glass sneeze guard into steel plates and bowls held by devotees. Strings of multicoloured fairy lights and bright ceiling lamps light the open-sided hall, with a metal railing guiding the line on the left. Most people wear white dhotis, shirts, or sarees in pastel tones, and some have shaved heads and white garments. This appears to be an annadan or prasadam meal service.A photograph of an outdoor annadanam food line under a long corrugated metal awning beside a building wall. Several women and some men in white clothes, some wearing white head caps, stand along steel serving counters and trays holding food. In the foreground, a woman with a long braid wears a white top, and another woman in an orange-and-white sari stands among them. Beyond the counters, a crowd of people in white and light clothing gathers under trees along a roadside, with a few motorbikes visible on the right.2022-04-17A photograph of an outdoor queue at an ashram event. Devotees stand in a line between rough wooden poles and rope barriers, many wearing white and light clothing, with a woman in an orange saree near the centre. On the right, a young man in white shirt and brown trousers stands on a concrete platform beside a brown cloth-covered stall, a potted plant, a steel bucket and a colourful striped canopy. A satellite dish is visible in the upper left, with trees and a brick building behind.2011-12-08January 06 20132013-01-06
