Night photograph of a large black stone Shivalinga standing on a platform in a reflecting water tank, with a metal staircase railing beside it. Strings of multicoloured lights and marigold garlands line the water's edge and steps. On the left, a group of people in white clothes stand on red stone steps near a golden palanquin-style canopy with a small illuminated kalasha. Rows of small oil lamps glow along the right-hand steps, and several people in white walk among them, all reflected in the water. The scene evokes Kartheekai Deepam lamp lighting at a temple tank.
