A seated group of young saffron-robed sannyasi boys and young men with white vibhuti marks on their foreheads, many with shaved heads and rudraksha malas, clapping and smiling on a red mat in a hall. Behind them, rows of adults in white and orange shawls sit in chairs, some clapping. The setting appears to be an indoor assembly hall with red curtains. A few men in white shirts and a foreign-looking man in a grey jacket appear among the audience.2013-10-19July 17 20172017-07-17 +1 copiesA large indoor gathering of seated devotees on a white tiled floor, with a red curtain and white wall behind them. In the foreground, many young boys and teenagers wear saffron-orange robes and rudraksha malas, with white sandalwood stripes on their foreheads; several sit with palms joined in prayer. Among them are men in white dhotis and shirts, and some adults in red or maroon robes. Shaved-headed monks in orange robes sit near the front. A green-and-gold ritual brass plate and small offerings lie on the floor near the seated group. No single figure is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance, so the scene is described by roles.2013-08-18February 27 20152015-02-27July 17 20172017-07-17July 29 20172017-07-29 +1 copiesJuly 29 20172017-07-29 +1 copiesJuly 31 20172017-07-31February 27 20152015-02-27March 26 20132013-03-26A seated group of devotees in an indoor hall, mostly young men and boys wearing saffron-orange cloths over bare upper bodies, many with rudraksha mala beads around their necks and white ash or paste markings on their foreheads and chests. Several have hands folded in anjali or resting palms together. Some older men in white dhotis sit in the background near chairs, and a brass trishula stands against the wall. The atmosphere is focused and attentive.2017-06-20July 19 20172017-07-19
