The seated person wears a red-and-orange robe, a red and orange turban, and multiple garlands of white jasmine and red flowers. Behind him stand a golden trident and a staff. Men in white dhotis and women in white and gold-bordered saris scatter petals from woven baskets; one man wears an orange shirt. Background panels show painted figures and a rocky backdrop with greenery. A woman in a white sari with gold border stands at right. Overall: a floral welcome or pada-puja style offering at a throne.2009-07-07July 07 20092009-07-07Photograph of a festive ceremony at a flower-decorated altar. A man in a white turban, long dark hair and an orange saffron garment with a white and orange flower garland smiles while seated before the altar. Behind him stands a figure in white and a man in white kurta raising a blue and yellow cloth above the altar. He wears a saffron-red robe, a saffron turban, a white-and-green garland and a rudraksha mala, and is being honoured by attendants. Around the throne, a man in white shirt and dhoti and a man in orange robes with a gold necklace pour or offer items from brass vessels (kalasha) into an abhishekam-style setting, while a young woman in white with red-bordered dress stands at right. A painted backdrop of a forest scene and seated sages/deity murtis appears behind a white tent canopy with hanging flower strings. The visible readable name is an English caption on the photo: Swamiji candidate present; appearance is recognisable from the saffron robe, turban, mala and ornate throne, so it is a probable in-person identification via appearance cues.2009-07-07A seated figure in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban sits on a throne decorated with a large floral garland of red, yellow, purple and white flowers arranged in a tall arch behind him. A long multicoloured flower garland hangs at his chest. Several devotees in white attire stand around him: a man in a white shirt and white dhoti with an orange shawl at left, another man in white at left-centre, and a woman in a white sari offering a lit oil lamp with a brass plate toward the seated figure. Another woman in a white sari stands at right beside a gold-ornate throne armrest. A person in white kneels in the foreground beside the throne. The setting is a gilded ceremonial stage with white draping. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure wears a saffron-orange robe and turban with a flower garland, consistent with the page's reference to Paramahamsa Nithyananda.2015-01-13A photograph of a temple ritual in an open hall with red walls and bright lights. A seated figure with long dark hair, wearing a green-and-gold-ornamented garment, a gold necklace and a red-and-white garland, is being honoured by attendants. Behind them, a large ornate golden throne-like structure is decorated with densely arranged flowers in red, yellow, purple, white and pink. A man in white dhoti and white shirt stands at the left, a man in orange cloth with gold border stands at the far left, and a man in white dhoti with bare upper body holds a red tray at the right. Several attendants in white dhotis bend forward around the seated figure, some presenting offerings and garlands. Gold ritual vessels and a golden deity murti are in the foreground. Attendants and devotees in white and orange surround the scene.2013-04-21August 15 20102010-08-15January 01 20082008-01-01July 17 20082008-07-17Night-time photograph of a ceremonial reception at an outdoor pavilion. A long-haired man in saffron-orange robes with a white flower garland sits on a golden-framed throne heaped with yellow, orange and magenta flowers, with a bald monk in orange clothing standing beside him. Around them, men in white dhotis and shirts, a woman in a red sari, and attendants in white stand on a red carpet, some offering items or leaning in. A chain-lit pole and string of lamps frame the scene. Probable Swamiji is seated on the throne, identified by long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and a flower garland; the surrounding people are devotees and attendants.2011-12-20A photograph of a festive ceremony where a long-haired man in white and gold clothing sits on an ornate golden throne framed by a large decorative arch of marigold and rose garlands in red, yellow, green and purple. He wears a long gold necklace and a rudraksha-style beaded mala, and his hands are being held by devotees. A man in an orange kurta stands at the left of the throne, while a woman in an orange blouse and white sari reaches forward. Several devotees in white shirts and dhotis press close in the foreground, and a figure in white stands at far left beside a fan. The scene suggests a devotional darshan or puja.2009-01-01
