A photograph of a village relief scene in daylight. A blue water tanker truck stands among low brick houses, with several men in white shirts and dhotis standing on or beside the truck, apparently handling the distribution. A crowd of children and adults presses close around the vehicle, many reaching toward it, with a young boy in a red shirt and a woman in a saffron-coloured sari prominent in the foreground. The setting is a dusty street with a partial view of a building wall on the right.

A man in a light green shirt stands in the open back of the vehicle, handing or receiving metal vessels. Many women and children press close from below, several holding steel pots and containers aloft, some wearing saris and salwar kameez in pink, purple and white. The scene suggests a food or water distribution line, with lit surroundings and bodies packed tightly together.2012-01-04A four-panel collage of an annadhan food distribution in a dusty street lined with buildings and parked motorbikes. Top left, a woman in a blue top stands near a crowd of people. Top right, women in saris and a man in a white shirt queue among motorbikes. Bottom left, volunteers in white shirts ladle food from a large pot at a roadside stall. Bottom right, a line of men in white and yellow turbans holds steel plates and bowls, receiving food. The panels show the meal service, with no a person figure identifiable in the images.2012-01-01 +1 copiesJanuary 05 20122012-01-05Annadhan in 20122012-01-01 +1 copiesAnnadhan in 20122012-01-01 +1 copiesAnnadhan in 20122012-01-01 +1 copiesJanuary 06 20122012-01-06
