A dense outdoor procession moves along a palm-lined road. Many men in white shirts with blue sashes and blue trim walk closely together, some with white and blue lanyards. Women in saris, including a woman in a blue sari and another in white, stand at the right edge. Orange flags on poles and a decorated palanquin or ratha with red and gold canopies and a red-and-white umbrella lead the crowd. A banner behind reads Nithya Annadhaan with a picture of a smiling figure. Red balloons float above the crowd. Several people in the front are blurred, and a bald man in white is at the upper right, with a child in a green shirt above him.
