Photograph taken from the back of a large hall looking toward a stage. Dozens of seated audience members, mostly shown from behind, fill the foreground, many bald or with short hair, some in white, orange and saffron clothing. On stage, a figure in orange-red robes sits cross-legged on a white throne-like seat in front of a large backdrop screen showing an ornate temple pillar hall. Red and maroon curtains, yellow drapes, hanging lanterns and stage lights frame the scene, with speaker stacks at left.
