A close photograph of a Shiva lingam being bathed in a thick yellow liquid poured from above by a hand adorned with gold bangles, a ritual abhishekam. Beside it, two women in rich pink and gold silk saris with sequined shoulder pieces stand near, and a gold ornamented object is visible at right. Only hands and partial figures are visible; no identifiable portrait or a person figure appears in the frame, so the lingam is the main subject.
