January 10 20162016-01-10A photograph of a Fujitsu computer monitor displaying a multi-camera broadcast feed of a seated figure in a large brown leather chair. The main views show a smiling person with long dark hair in a saffron-red robe with yellow trim, wearing a long rudraksha mala and a large gold pendant, with a headset microphone. Smaller inset feeds show a similar figure, a man in a red headwrap holding a golden staff against a red-orange background, and a wide view of a hall with seated people in white and red. The screen displays camera labels such as PGM, SDI3, HDMI2, FM-K and HDMI3. This is a photo of a screen, so the figures shown are depictions rather than people physically present in the room.2015-10-25A photograph taken from behind a seated audience member of a large video monitor showing a multi-camera feed of a talk. The main screen panel shows a man with long swept-back dark hair and a bare upper body, wearing a saffron-orange shawl wrap and a long yellow-and-green-beaded garland, holding a pen and gesturing while speaking into a headset microphone beside a gold-carved throne with a brown leather seat. Smaller panels show him seated in the same orange wrap and garland, and show a crowd of women in white uniforms and white sleeveless attire seated in rows on the floor. Swamiji (probable) on the screen: the figure has long swept-back hair, a saffron wrap and ceremonial garland, and the feed is a depiction on a screen, not a physical presence. Several other people in the audience are partly visible in the foreground.2014-08-23A multi-feed broadcast monitor displays several camera views of a seated teacher in saffron-orange robes with rudraksha malas and ceremonial gold necklaces, seated on an ornate golden throne with lion and floral carvings. Large panel shows him smiling with hands clasped, wearing a dark cap and red tilak. Other tiles show the throne with a temple tower backdrop, a deity mural, and a seated audience in white and mixed clothing at the bottom left, with a label reading Ohio Aadheenam: Nithyanandeswara Hindu Temple. Smaller windows show a close-up and the same throne. This is a screen capture of a live satsang feed showing a teacher identified by these cues as a person.2016-01-23August 23 20142014-08-23August 08 20152015-08-08A monitor wall in a control room shows multiple live camera feeds of a seated man on a dark red leather throne with gilded carved lion figures and a gold arched backdrop. He wears a maroon turban and maroon robe with gold trim, a dark beaded mala, and holds two thin sticks in his hands. Small inset panels show a close-up of the turbaned man's face, a wider view, and a feed of a man in white garland and gold ornaments seated beside a gold throne. Lower screens show a grid of video-conference participants. The photograph was taken of the screens rather than the event itself.2015-06-15August 23 20142014-08-23June 20 20152015-06-20August 17 20152015-08-17A photograph of two wall-mounted screens in a hall. The right screen shows a speaker in saffron-red robes and a red shawl, with long dark hair, a red crown-like headpiece and a rudraksha mala, seated before an ornate gold throne-backdrop with a microphone in front. The speaker is a depiction on screen and is not counted as physically present.2016-01-16A photograph of a broadcast monitor showing a multi-camera video switcher feed of a live session. The main program panel shows a man in a red-orange turban, gold and rudraksha-style ornate necklace, and saffron-orange shawl gesturing with both hands at a microphone in front of an ornate gold throne.
