A central figure in a rust-orange garment with a gold-clasped rudraksha-style neck piece and a long white and red flower garland is pouring or offering something from a spoon into a lit lamp near a flower-decorated window frame, with a rust-red and gold outfit and long swept-back hair; this figure is a person candidate by visible cues (long hair, saffron-orange clothing, ceremonial gold necklace and garland). Beside him a man in white shirt and dhoti rings a brass bell and holds a green sprig, while a man in a white shirt with folded hands and rudraksha mala stands at left. At far left a shaven-headed priest in an orange shawl holds a kalasha pot decorated with coloured bands and leaves, with a plate of white flowers in front.
