In the upper centre a white chalk kolam, a symmetrical floral-geometric design, surrounds a central motif decorated with red and yellow flowers. In the foreground, rows of yellow marigold flowers and red petals cover stone steps, arranged in a stepped pattern. On the right stands a man in white dhoti and shirt with a saffron-orange shawl over his shoulder; other people in white dhotis are partly visible at the top edges, with bare feet visible. The scene suggests a festival preparation with floral offerings.2006-12-26A photograph of a ground-level white rangoli kolam design drawn on reddish earth, with a central floral arrangement of yellow and red flowers. In the foreground, steps are covered with rows of bright yellow marigold-type flowers interspersed with red petals and red blossoms, with pink petals bordering the edges. Two people stand at the upper right and top edge, one in white dhoti and white shirt with an orange shawl and bare feet, the other in white dhoti with bare feet, and partial legs of another person appear at the top. Their figures are cut off at the frame edges.2006-12-26January 14 20182018-01-14April 14 20182018-04-14June 24 20142014-06-24December 16 20172017-12-16December 30 20082008-12-30December 27 20082008-12-27
