A crowded interior of a plain whitewashed house with a bare bulb hanging from the ceiling. Many men and women stand closely together, most in everyday clothes. A man in a white cap and white shirt stands at centre, and a man in a green-and-white checked shirt smiles beside him. Several bare-chested men with shaved heads, wearing red-and-saffron cloths, stand in the middle of the room near the doorway. A woman in a pink-flowered sari stands at right, and an older woman in a green floral sari sits in the foreground. A chalkboard hangs on the right wall and a small framed picture is set above the doorway. The people appear to be gathered in a home, with no clear view of a central figure.
