A dense crowd of devotees fills a temple hall with carved stone pillars and a dark wooden ceiling. Many people reach forward with raised hands, some holding flowers or offerings. A man in the foreground has white ash markings on his forehead and face, and another in a white headcloth stands near the center. A uniformed police officer wearing a dark cap with a blue band stands among the crowd. Hanging decorations in orange, purple and multicolored patterned fabric with tassels stretch across the ceiling, and a bright light glares at the top center.
