A photograph of a temple procession at Tiruvannamalai. On the left, a golden palanquin with a deity murti draped in garlands of pink and white flowers is drawn by two silver-plated bull figures decorated with garlands and pink flower headdresses. On the right, a person in an orange-saffron top with a long swept-back hair and a white forehead band stands with palms pressed together in namaskar, with a garland around the neck. Behind is a gopuram temple tower and a crowd of devotees in the background. Appearance-based label: a person is not applied since the figure is a devotee-like person with only partial cues, so this is a devotee with palms joined before a palanquin.
