Night-time outdoor scene at a temple with string lights in green and white hanging in the trees. A large crowd of devotees, mostly women and men in white dhotis and saris with red-and-white shawls, stand with palms pressed together in anjali mudra, many with white vibhuti smeared on their foreheads. Several carry white coconut bundles tied with cloth. Some are gray-haired elders and others younger. A man at the top right holds up a camera. A dark stone deity murti or ornate sculpture is visible at the upper right on a red pedestal, and the ground is strewn with green leaves. The scene suggests a Pada Yatra devotional gathering at a temple.
