A photograph of a padapuja at a home in Tamil Nadu. A person in an orange saffron garment with an orange turban, white and red flower garlands, and bangles stands at right, placing hands on the heads of kneeling devotees. Devotees in white shirts and dhotis, women in red and mustard saffron-toned saris, and children kneel and sit close together in a small room with white walls. A cameraman in orange clothing photographs the scene from the upper right, and a ceiling fan and a framed picture hang on the wall behind.

Devotees press close: a woman in a pink sari with a gold necklace, a woman in a red blouse with a white jasmine garland, and men in white shirts and dhotis. A devotee bends forward with hands raised and another stands with palms together. A man in a white shirt holds fruit near the seated figure's hand. A framed saffron-robed portrait hangs on the wall at upper right. The seated figure's appearance with turban, saffron robes, rudraksha mala and gold ornaments is consistent with a person, with the page noting the event; identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2014-07-02 +1 copiesA padapuja in a small whitewashed room. A seated figure on an ornate gold-and-silver throne wears an orange-red turban, a red and white flower garland, gold bangles and an orange-red shawl over orange robes, hands joined in greeting; the figure is a probable Swamiji by these cues. Before the throne, a bald priest in orange robes and a rudraksha mala lights a flame with a lamp, while a woman in a white sari with gold border and a girl in white kneel on a patterned mat beside a man in white dhoti and shirt with folded hands. Standing behind them are men in white shirts, one holding a camera, and a man in orange robes, with a doorway opening onto more people.
