Two men stand outdoors on a rocky mountain road in front of white SUVs, with a tall snow-capped peak and layered brown cliffs behind them. The man on the left wears a blue puffer jacket, glasses and an orange scarf, and holds a dark pouch. The man in the centre wears a blue puffer jacket printed with the words Kailash Manasarovar and a tan knitted jacket beneath, a knitted cap with red and white patterns, and dark sunglasses. Another person is partly visible behind them near the vehicles. The scene reflects a Kailash Yatra pilgrimage stop.

On the dry gravel ground beside parked vehicles, several small distant figures stand and sit near a few animals.2011-08-06August 06 20112011-08-06Outdoors at a rocky roadside stop below a snow-capped mountain peak and tall brown cliffs. A bald man in orange robes and a black scarf holds a black-and-silver umbrella over a seated woman in orange, who wears dark sunglasses, a rudraksha mala and orange clothing, and eats from a metal bowl on a small orange table. A gold wristwatch and a ring are visible on his hands, and a small red mark is on his forehead. Behind him a snow-capped conical mountain rises under a bright blue sky with white clouds, above a barren valley of rocky slopes and sparse green grass. Scattered stone cairns and a line of prayer flags appear at the right edge.2011-08-06Outdoors on a grassy mountain slope under a pale blue sky with scattered clouds, a snow-capped peak rises in the background. On the right, a man in a bright orange turban and orange shawl over an orange jacket smiles while looking off to the side, a small ornate gold-toned ornament on his turban. Beside him on the left, a man in dark-rimmed glasses and a blue jacket with an orange scarf holds a sheet of paper and looks toward the mountain. The orange-clad man has long-hair-free presentation with a turban and shawl only; the visible cues are limited to the turban and orange robes, so identity remains uncertain. On the left, a person in an orange wrap and matching orange knit cap sits cross-legged beside a silver umbrella pole, facing right toward the group. Around a dozen seated devotees sit on the grass in front of them: several wear orange or red headscarves and shawls, one wears a pale blue jacket with an orange scarf, another wears a dark jacket with a rudraksha-style mala, and others wear hats and jackets. Some appear to be listening attentively, and a small book or card lies on the grass at lower right.2012-08-08A photograph taken on a mountain valley slope with a snow-capped peak rising behind. In the foreground a smiling bald man in a blue puffer jacket and a cream-and-orange striped scarf stands with palms pressed together in namaste. Facing him, a man in a vivid orange-red turban with a gold ornament and an orange-red fleece tunic with gold-trimmed rudraksha mala beads reaches out to touch the bald man's forehead in a blessing gesture. Both are smiling. Green grass, rocky ridges and a blurred figure in the background complete the scene. The turbaned figure may be a person based on the orange-red robes, turban and rudraksha mala cues, though the identity is uncertain.2011-08-06August 06 20112011-08-06
