Several hold up a white banner printed with a portrait of a person in orange and the words "Nithyananda Youth Foundation". Another banner reading "HAPPY BIRTHDAY SALEM" hangs from a building, and a large shop board shows a man in a red-orange turban with Tamil lettering. One man in a white shirt points upward toward a pole. Parked motorcycles and scooters sit along the road, with yellow flowers on a tree.
