A seated figure on an ornate silver throne with peacock-feather motifs and carved lion heads sits under a floral arch of yellow marigolds and red, white and purple stripes. He wears a red-orange cloth, a long multi-strand garland of white and pink flowers, a beaded necklace and a crown, with hands resting on the armrests. Around the stage, many people in white and blue-white garments sit facing him, some holding oil lamps; one silhouetted figure raises an arm in the foreground. A glowing bokeh backdrop of gold and orange lights fills the background. Swamiji (probable) appears to be the figure on the throne, identified by the orange clothing, crown and garlands on the throne.2018-01-09January 09 20182018-01-09January 09 20182018-01-09December 23 20162016-12-23January 09 20182018-01-09A seated man on a gold ornate throne sits centrally before a canopy of colourful flower garlands in yellow, orange, white and purple. He wears a saffron-orange robe, a red-and-pink floral garland, a gold necklace and a rudraksha mala, with a bearded face and long dark hair; this appearance matches the Swamiji (probable) candidate, presented as the honoured central figure at a sacred gathering. Trident-tipped ceremonial staffs stand on either side of the throne. Seated in front on colourful striped mats are many devotees in saris, kurtas and traditional dress, including women in pink, green and purple, while two bare-chested attendants in orange dhotis stand at the sides, one with a garland-decorated staff. This appears to be a ritual gathering or darshan.2016-12-06January 13 20152015-01-13December 23 20162016-12-23December 23 20162016-12-23December 23 20162016-12-23November 13 20102010-11-13December 06 20162016-12-06
