Close-up photo of a bare foot standing on a green banana leaf on a paved courtyard floor. The foot, wearing only the lower edge of white dhoti with a yellow border above the ankle, is smeared with turmeric paste and red kumkum, with scattered red flower petals on the toes and leaf. White milk or liquid streaks spread across the leaf beside the foot.

Only the lower legs and a hand are visible: one figure wears white dhoti cloth, and another person in orange-brown garments kneels at the right, applying the paste with their hand. Darker bare feet of a second person appear at the upper left on another banana leaf. The scene suggests a ritual foot-washing or anointing before a temple ceremony, with no visible deity, face or a person figure in frame.2016-12-12 +1 copiesDecember 22 20162016-12-22 +1 copies
