A photograph of schoolchildren seated in a long row along a covered concrete veranda of a yellow-walled school building. Many students wear light blue shirts and dark navy pinafore dresses or trousers; a standing girl in a navy pinafore, dark knee socks and black shoes leans against a pillar at right, hands clasped. Several girls have hair ties with white flowers. Small handbags and bags sit on the floor beside them. In the background, adults in white and other clothes stand near a stair and a building entrance, a white bus and a parked motorcycle are at left, and a girl walks across the sandy yard. The scene suggests a school eye-checkup session in progress.
