August 02 20082008-08-02August 02 20082008-08-02Outdoor crowd scene at a festival ground under an overcast sky, with trees, a blue tarpaulin-covered stall and a colourful bunting-decorated pavilion behind. A central figure in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl wears a long multi-strand gold-coloured garland and smiles, with long swept-back dark hair and a bare upper body. Around him, men in saffron and orange robes and white dhotis and shirts press close, some with raised hands and folded palms, while a white-clad man with long hair in a white shirt gestures beside them. Several bald men in white and orange attire surround the group, one wearing a rudraksha mala.2010-12-29August 02 20082008-08-02December 31 20052005-12-31August 02 20082008-08-02August 02 20082008-08-02Outdoor procession with a large crowd of men in white and orange-clad sannyasis. At centre, a man with long dark swept-back hair wears a white dhoti-style garment, a red and white flower garland, layered gold necklaces and yellow-and-gold ornaments, with hands raised in greeting; the visual cues are long hair, ornate gold necklaces and a white garment, so this is a probable Swamiji (probable) figure in procession. Beside him, a bearded man in orange robes and beaded necklace holds a small cup, and a younger man in orange with folded hands walks nearby. On the left, a woman in a red sari holds a decorated fan-shaped placard with an orange border. Tall orange-and-yellow banners on poles and a golden trishul rise above the crowd, which includes people in white shirts and women with bindi and vibhuti.2009-01-01Outdoor procession under palm trees with a decorated ceremonial umbrella and a golden trident finial above. A central man with long dark wavy hair wears an orange saffron robe with gold border, a white and red flower garland and a gold chain, walking in front of a crowd. Surrounding people wear white dhotis and kurtas with orange shawls, and a woman at right in white sari with orange shawl holds a brass ritual vessel. Bunting flags hang overhead. a person (long swept hair, saffron robe, garland, ceremonial gold necklace) in a procession setting.2007-01-01 +1 copiesFebruary 05 20092009-02-05A procession crowd in an outdoor festival scene. In the centre, a smiling person with long dark hair, a saffron-orange cloth wrapped over the head and body, and a heavy gold necklace of beads stands among devotees, appearing to be a person figure with long hair, saffron clothing and a gold necklace, in the role of procession participant. Around them, saffron-robed sannyasis and white-clad devotees carry large lavender-and-white canopies with red tassels on poles, and orange flags are raised. Several men in white shirts and dhotis raise hands and cheer; an older bearded man in white with an orange-trimmed shawl stands to the right, and a man in sunglasses points. Lower right, a silver ritual vessel is visible.2005-12-31A photograph of a crowd during a festival procession. In the centre, a man with long dark hair, a peacock feather fixed to a red headband, and an orange-red shawl over bare shoulders smiles broadly. He wears a white floral garland with green leaves and red flowers and a heavy gold bead necklace. Around him, devotees in white kurtas and orange shawls raise their fists and cheer. Several wear orange headbands and forehead marks, and a man on the right in white and orange lifts his arm. Swamiji (probable): the central figure's long hair, peacock-feather headband, saffron-orange wrap, rudraksha-style gold beadwork and floral garland match the cues the page describes.2007-12-25
