Outdoor cyclone relief distribution in a village lane lined with palm trees and a blue tarpaulin-covered hut. A bearded man in a cream shirt and checked lungi stands at centre holding a paper plate of yellow rice. Around him, villagers and children receive plates of food from volunteers in white head coverings who serve from a large metal pot on the bed of a yellow Mahindra pickup. A young girl in a green top and a woman in a blue dress are among the recipients; a man in a light blue shirt on the right holds a plate. A relief food distribution scene in a rural area.

Two men in white uniforms and head coverings stand on the flatbed of an orange-brown truck, ladling food from pots into bowls held by a line of villagers. A bare-chested man in a white dhoti with a red border, wearing a rudraksha-style beaded necklace, stands at left directing the line. Women in colourful saris and a girl in a yellow frilled dress and a girl in orange with a flower garland hold bowls and a steel container. Bent palm trees and fallen branches line the road. A banner on the truck shows a portrait of a saffron-robed figure, and the scene is a relief meal under the windy sky.2012-01-06January 07 20122012-01-07January 07 20122012-01-07Outdoor relief distribution on a village street lined with palm trees and white walls.
